Short ribs Korean BBQ marinade

Ingredients
- 2 pounds thinly sliced (1/3 inch) short ribs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame seed oil
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 3 cloves pressed garlic
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 3 stalks finely chopped scallion
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation
Step 1
First score the meat using a knife. Then sprinkle each slice of meat with sugar and set aside.
For the marinade, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, green onions, ginger, garlic and black pepper in small bowl.
Add marinade to meat. Let meat marinate for two hours.
Grill on high heat.
