Ingredients
- 1-1/4 pounds ground beef
- 1/3 C. dry Italian bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/2 t. garlic salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 3-1/2 T. water
- 2-1/2 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 T. ketchup
- 1 package Lipton Onion Mushroom soup mix (or any other soup mix to make a gravy)
- 1 small can of sliced mushrooms or 1/2 pound fresh, sliced

Step 1
In a large bowl mix ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, garlic salt, pepper, water & Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and form into 6 oval patties.
In a large frying pan, over medium high heat, brown on both sides. Pour off excess fat.
In a small bowl mix soup mix as directed. Mix in ketchup and mushrooms and cook until thickened. Pour over meat in skillet. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
