Norwegian Coffee Cake

Ingredients

• Separately mix:
• 1/4 lb butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 slightly beaten eggs
• 1/2 pint sour cream
• 1 teasp vanilla
• 2 cups flour
• 1 teasp baking soda
• 1/4 teasp. salt
• 1 teasp. baking powder
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 teasp. cinnamon
• 1/2 cup walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter with sugar, add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla

Sift flour baking soda, salt and baking powder and add to other mixture a little at a time

Spooon 1/2 of batter in tube pan then 1/2 of cinnamon mixture, then rest of batter and rest of cinnamon mixture. Dot with pieces of butter

Bake 45-55 mins. @ 350 degrees
