Ingredients

  • 1 pound frozen edamame pods
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • pita bread (quartered)

Preparation

Step 1

Blanch edamame as package directs. Allow to cool, then shell.

Puree beans (1 cup) in a food processor with lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, oil, and 1/4 water until well-blended.

Serve with pita
