Ingredients
- 1 onion minced
- 2 cloves of garlic minced
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (tuttorosso 28 oz)
- 1 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Oregano
- 1 tablespoon Basil
- 2 Bay leaves
- 3 packets of Equal
- 3 Tablespoons Grated Pecorino Ramano Cheese
- Meat either Italian Sausage or ground Beef

Preparation
Step 1
Saute Onions and Garlic til soft
Brown meat
Add all spices to the crushed tomato can including the Equal
When meat is browned add Crushed tomatoes to the pot
Fill the Crushed tomato can 3/4 full with water and add to pot
Mix tomato paste with 3 ounces of water and add to pot
Bring sauce to a good simmer and then add Grated Cheese
If sauce is to acid tasting add more Equal
Simmer for 2 to 3 hours.
This is best if made the day before using
