Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 2/3 cups flour
• 2 t. soda
• 1/2 t. salt
• 2/3 cup smooth peanut butter
• Additional sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter with sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Beat until smooth. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Chill 1 to 2 hours. Shape into 1 inch balls, roll in sugar. Place on unprepared baking sheets, bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly before removing from cookie sheets.
