Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil 1 Tablespoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil 1 Tablespoon fresh oregano or 1 teaspoon dry
- 3/4 lb. Lean ground round 1 Tablespoon fresh basil or 1 teaspoon dry
- 1/2 lb. Italian sausage 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 2 onions chopped fine 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 2 cloves garlic minced 1/2 lb. Lasagne noodles---9
- 1 can (1 lb. 13 ounce) Italian tomatoes 1 lb+ Ricotta
- 2 small cans Tomato Sauce 1 lb+ Mozarella grated
- 5 Tablespoons sugar 1/4 lb parmesan

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oils in saucepan. Add beef and sausage and saute. Add onion and garlic and saute 3 minutes. Add tomatoes tomato sauce, sugar, salt, basil, pepper and ½ cup parmesan. Mix well, bring to boil, simmer 2 hours, stirring occasionally. When sauce is almost done boil water and salt and oil. Add Lasagne 2 at a time. Let simmer 15 minutes. Drain, rinse with hot water.
In bottom of greased 9 X13 baking dish, put thin layer of sauce, noodles, then layer cheeses. Repeat layers twice ending with sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake at 350 40 minutes and let stand 15 minutes before serving.
