Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound 14 ounce can sliced peaches reserve 1/2 cup syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1 egg, slightly beaten

Step 1
Into 1 1/2 quart bowl add flour butter and salt. Mix with pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse meal. With back of spoon, press mixture firmly on to the bottom of and half way up pan. Drain peaches well and arrange on crust in pan. Sprinkle with mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Bake 20 minutes. Mix syrup evaporated milk and egg. Pour over peaches. Bake 30 minutes more or until custard is firm except in center. The center will become firm on standing. Serve warm or cold.
