Low Fat Crispy Oven Fried Chicken
- 1/4 cup plain bread crumbs 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Parmesan 1 broiler fryer -3 lb. Cut in eighths
Line baking sheet with foil. Fill medium bowl with water. Put coating in bag. Mix. Wet chicken in water and then dip in coating 2 at a time. Remove to plate.
Heat 2 Tablespoons oil in large heavy skillet over medium heat. Brown well. Bake at 450 for 25-30 minutes. Serves 4. 352 calories per serving. 38 protein 11 carbs 16 fat.
