Ingredients

  • 1 T plus 1 t vegetable oil
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 1 c chopped green pepper
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 oz cheddar cheese - in small cubes
  • 3/4 c plain dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c plain yogurt
  • 1 T parsley flakes
  • 2 t worcestershire sauce
  • 1 t chili powder
  • dash of pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Heat oil in skillet.

Add onion, pepper, garlic, and beef bouillon.
Saute until vegetables are tender and onions are translucent.
Fold vegetables into all remaining ingredients.
Shape into a loaf.
Place on rack over pan of water.
Bake 45 min.
Can be cooked and frozen.
