Ingredients

    large artichoke hearts

  • 8

    oz cream cheese

  • 1/3

    cup shredded parmesan

  • 1

    Tbl chopped parsley

  • 1/2

    tsp each salt and pepper

  • 1/4

    tsp lemon zest

  • 1

    garlic clove,minced

Directions

Cut stems at base then snap off all leaves, cut hears in half lenghtwise. Bring a pot of salted water to boil. Add the hearts and reduce the heat and simmer, covered, until tender when pierced about 20-30 minutes. Drain and cool. Whirl all the ingredients together in a food processor until blended.
