Easter Italian Miscotta

Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 2/3 cup cream
- 1 tsp anise
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1/3 &1/4 cup sugar
- 4 tsp bkg powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 cups flour
- Frosting
- 1 tsp anise
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- Cream to make a glaze consistency

Step 1
Mix the dry ingredients. Cream the butter and sugar, add the eggs. Add the cream alt. with the flour. This will be a soft dough, not wet.
Ona floured surface, knead dough to make it workable. Now cut af a piece at a time and make a rope about 1 inch in diameter. Form into little 8's by folding in half and twisting once then pinching the ends.
Bake@ 350* for 8-10 minutes or till they are just beginning to brown on the edge.
Frost with the glaze completely covering the cookie.
