Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage, browned and drained
  • 4 cups cheese croutons
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey jack
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/8 cup chopped onion
  • 8 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.

Layer croutons, cheese, sausage, and veggies in dish. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over all. Bake at 325 for 35-45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes.


Could substitute ham to go with cheddar or bacon to go with Swiss cheese.
