Ingredients
- 10 sheets filo pastry
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon finely grated orange peel
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350
Butter a 12x8" stainless steel pan (no glass)
Cut pastry sheet in half
Combine walnuts, honey and cinnamon
Brush pastry sheets with butter
Bottom: 7 pastry sheets layered, 1/4 of walnut mixture, 2 pastry, 1/4 walnut mix, 2 pastry, 1/4 walnut mix, 2 pastry, 1/4 walnut mix, and 7 pastry
With very sharp knife, cut pastry to form 16 diamond-shaped pieces.
Top with remaining butter
Bake for 50 min, until top is crisp and golden brown
When baklava is baking combine remaining ingredients.
Heat to boiling, lower heat and simmer 8-10 minutes.
Brush over hot Baklava with hot syrup immediatley after done.
