Ingredients
- 1/2 cup solid shortening (Crisco)
- 1 cup sugar (can substitute 3/4 cup honey)
- 1 cup tomato soup, undiluted
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour 13-inch x 9-inch cake pan.
Cream together shortening and sugar. Stir baking soda into tomato soup and add to shortening/sugar mixture. Mix well.
In separate bowl, whisk together dry ingredients. Add to wet mixture. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Pour into pan and bake for 50-60 minutes.
Frost with Whipped Cream Cheese Frosting.
