Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped (about 2 teaspoons)
- 1 teaspoons parsley, chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
- 1 1/2 teaspoons basil
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (14 ounce) can chunky crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste

Step 1
Place oil and garlic in a medium saucepan and heat over medium heat until garlic sizzles. Add herbs. Allow the oil to infuse for a minute. Add tomatoes and pinch of salt and pepper. Stir. Bring sauce to a slight boil. Reduce heat and allow to simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
