- 2 1 oz. squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1/3 cup boiling water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. corn syrup
- 3 tbsp. bourbon (sub something)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans, optional

Preparation
Step 1
Melt chocolate in double boiler. Add butter and let melt. Stir. Add water and blend well. Stir in sugar and corn syrup. Place pan over direct heat and boil gently for 8 minutes. Do NOT stir. Just before serving, stir in bourbon and nuts.
May be made ahead and reheated over boiling water.
