- 2 sticks butter
- 2 c sugar
- 2 c white corn syrup
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups chopped pecans (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla

Step 1
Cook butter, sugar, corn syrup, and condensed milk together, stirring constantly with wooden spoon, until mixture reaches 240 degrees.
Remove from heat and stir in nuts and vanilla.
Cool.
Pour into buttered pan.
Cut into pieces and wrap each piece in plastic wrap.
