Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 cups ketchup
- 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon dark molasses
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne

Step 1
1. Heat oil in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook, stirring, until onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
2. Stir in all remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until sauce is thickened, about 10 minutes. Use or refrigerate in covered container up to 5 days.
