  • 1 teaspoon(s) Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Ground Cloves
  • 1 cup(s) Sugar
  • 1/4 cup(s) molasses
  • 3/4 cup(s) Shortening
  • 1 Egg $

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Measure dry ingredients into sifter. Cream shortening and gradually add sugar. Beat egg and molasses. Add to shortening and sugar. Sift dry ingredients over the creamed mixture and blend well. Form 1 tsp. dough into ball and roll balls in sugar. Place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake 12-15 min.
