- 3 cups thinly sliced red cabbage
- 1/2 cup grated carrot
- 1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/8 teaspoon salt

Step 1
Combine the first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine sugar, vinegar, water, and salt; stir well with a whisk. Pour over cabbage mixture, tossing to coat. Cover and chill 1 hour.
