Ingredients

  • 14 1/2 oz can diced tomatoes in juice
  • 10 1/2 ounce can condensed chicken broth, reconstituted, or 2 1/2 cups ready to serve
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup diced potatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup fresh green beans, cut into half-inch pieces
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp marjoram
  • 1/8 tsp thyme
  • pinch black pepper

Step 1

Bring tomatoes, broth and water to a boil in a 3-quart saucepan. Add remaining ingredients and return to a boil. Reduce heat to a slow simmer for about one hour or until vegetables are tender.
