Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- Outer mixture
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Sift flour, salt, and baking soda into a bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
Add the egg and vanilla.
Add the dry slowly and continue to mix thoroughly.
Break the dough into thirds and roll into 2 inch logs.
Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate overnight (or at least 3-4 hours).
Mix the cinnamon & sugar together and roll each log in the mixture.
Cut the logs into quarter-inch slices and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes
