Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 cups mashed banana (about 4 medium)
- 1 cup roughly chopped pecans, toasted
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour two 8x4" loaf pans.
Beat butter and cream cheese at medium speed until creamy. Gradually add sugar, beating till light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating until just blended. Combine flour and next four ingredients, gradually add to butter mixture, beating at low speed until just blended. Stir in bananas, pecans and vanilla. Spoon into loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour to l hour 15 minutes; shielding with foil last 15 minutes to prevent overbrowning. Cool on wire racks 10 minutes. Remove from pans and cool 30 minutes more.
