Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg + 3 egg yolks
  • 1 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 1/4 cups packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup malted milk powder
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 325°F. Grease sheet pan. Whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. Mix together the butter or coconut oil, brown sugar and white sugar until well combined. Beat in the vanilla, egg, and egg yolks until light and well mixed. Mix in the malt powder then the dry ingredients until just blended. Gently stir in the chocolate chips. Spread onto the prepared sheet pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until middle is set and edges are golden. Transfer sheet to wire rack to cool completely.
