Ingredients

  • 1 Whole Chicken
  • Chicken Broth
  • Fresh Bay Leaf
  • 2 -3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Poultry Seasoning to taste
  • 1 Teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 4 - 5 Carrots (peeled and cut in small pieces)
  • 2 Stalks Celery Chopped
  • 1 Small Onion Chopped
  • 2 Cup Original Bisquick Mix
  • 2/3 Cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

1. Boil Chicken until done approximately 1 hr. Remove chicken, set aside to cool.

2. Remove excess fat from chicken water with peeled potatoe or bread.

3. Add a few cups of chicken broth and bring water to a boil, add fresh bay leaf, garlic, Salt, pepper,thyme, Poutry Seasoning, carrots, celery, and onions, boil until vegetables are tender.

4. Debone cooled chicken discarding skin and bones. Return pulled chicken to pot of vegetables. Thicken with a little flour.

5. Min medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix and the milk with wire whisk or fork until soft dough forms. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto hot chicken mixture (do not drop directly into liquid). Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
