Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
2/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans. In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; mix well Add all remaining cake ingredients. Beat at low speed for 30 seconds. Beat 3 minutes at high speed. Pour batter into greased and floured pans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

For 11x8 sheet pan, bake it for 35 to 40 minutes
