- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 TABLESPOONS unsalted butter
- 12 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 TABLESPOON vanilla extract
- 1/2 C toasted skinless hazelnuts, warm

Directions
1. Wash and sanitize utensils and preparation area.
2. Assemble ingredients and equipment.
3. Combine cream and butter in a small saucepan.
4. Bring to simmer over medium-high heat.
5. Place chocolate in bowl of food processor fitted with steel blade.
6. With machine running, gradually add hot cream and vanilla through the feed tube and process until smooth and thickened, about 3 minutes.
7. Transfer ganache to medium bowl and let stand at room temperature 1 hour, until spreadable
8. Puree hazelnuts to a paste and mix with ganache
