Ingredients
- 3/4 cups oil
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ginger

Preparation
Step 1
Mix oil, brown sugar, egg, and molasses
Add flour, baking soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon, and ginger
Mix together and chill dough (1 hour)
Roll into balls the size of walnuts
Dip tops into sugar
Place sugared side up on greased cookie sheet
Drop 2 or 3 dropes of water to produce crinkled suface
Bake at 350 for about 8 minutes
