Rich Double Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients
- 8 ounces 70 percent cacao bittersweet chocolate
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons confectioners' sugar

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line 9-inch square baking pan with nonstick foil; set aside.
2. Reserve 2 ounces of chocolate. Chop remaining 6 ounces and place in large microwave-safe bowl with butter. Microwave for 1 minute; stir. Microwave 30 seconds, then stir until smooth.
3. Stir sugar, flour, baking soda and salt into chocolate mixture until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla; stir until smooth. Chop remaining 2 ounces chocolate. Stir into batter. Pour into prepared pan, spreading level.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted in center. Cool on rack for 10 minutes. Lift brownie from pan using foil; place directly on rack to cool completely. Dust with confectioners' sugar.
