Marshmallow Treats

• 1/4 cup butter
• 40 regular marshmallows (3 cups miniature)
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 5-6 cups Rice Krispies

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in large saucepan. Add marshmallows and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until marshmallows are melted and mixture is well blended.
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
Add Rice Krispies and stir until well coated with marshmallow mixture.
Press warm marshmallow treat mixture into lightly buttered 13x9 inch pan. If necessary, use buttered hands.
Cut into squares when cool.
Yield 24 squares.
