MARBLE CAKE (UNCLE EDDIE'S)

Ingredients

• 1 c. milk
• 2 c. sugar
• 1 c.butter or margarine
• 3 c. flour
• 1 lg. t. baking powder
• 1 envelope Nestles Choco Bake
• 1 T. vanilla
• 1 t. Almond extract
• 1 oz. Rum
• 1 oz. Triple Sec

Preparation

Step 1

Separate Eggs. Beat whites until stiff.

Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda together.

Cream butter and sugar well and add egg yolks.

Add flour mixture a few teaspoons at a time and beat.

Add a little milk & continue till flour and milk are gone.

Beat well, add vanilla, almond and liquors.

Fold in egg whites.

Take 1 cup of butter and mix with choco bake.

Grease Bundt pan very well.

Pour 1/2 batter into pan. Add choco bake mixture around pan.

Add the rest of cake batter.

take knife and cut back and forth to swirl choco bake and rest of cake batter back and forth to form marbling.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour.l
