Ingredients
- Blend:
- 4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- Add:
- 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Fold:
- 2 egg whites lightly whipped
- Bake: 375 15 to 20 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet
- If cookies are flat add flour.
- Frost with cream cheese frosting and sprinkles.
