Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 c. shredded mozzarella
  • 8 oz Neufchatel cheese, room temp
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tb flour
  • 2 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1/4 c. chopped fresh basil
  • 2 Tb grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 plum tomatoes, thinly sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400

Press pie crust into tart pan. Prick bottom of crust.

Bake 10-12 mins. Sprinkle 1/2 c. mozzarella on crust, set aside

Combine cream cheese, egg, flour and garlic, whisk until smooth.
Add remaining mozzarella cheese and basil mix well.
Spread mixture over crust

Thinly slice tomatoes and arrange on top. Sprinkle with Parmasan cheese.

Bake 18-20 mins. Let stand 5 mins. Top with extra basil
