Sour Cream Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup honey
• 1 cup butter
• 1 egg
• 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
• 3 1/2 cup unbleached flour
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• nuts or rasins

Preparation

Step 1

Mix hiney and shortening

Add egg and lemon peel, mix well

Mix in sour cream

Add salt, baking powder, and flour

Mix throughly

Drop by rounded teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheet

Flatten with glass dipped in sugar

Press in nuts or rasins

Bake at 375
