Ingredients
- Cake:
- 3 small ripe bananas or 2 large ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 white cake mix
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Frosting:
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Cake:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; set aside. Blend bananas and add sour cream; beat until well blended and set aside. Mix cake mix, oil, milk, and vanilla. Add banana mixture. Gently, fold in beaten egg whites. Pour mixture into a greased and floured 9 x 13" cake pan and bake for 35 minutes or 3 layer pans and bake for about 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Frosting:
Blend cream cheese and butter. Gradually, add powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir in nuts. Frost cake and refrigerate.
