Sweet Potato Supreme

Ingredients

• Topping:
• 1 40 oz. can sweet potatoes, mashed and drained (I would rather use fresh not canned potatoes.
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup flour
• 1 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring mixture to a boil and pour into a greased 2 quart casserole.

Topping:
Mix all topping ingredients and spread over sweet potato mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
May be made the day befor serving.
