Ingredients
- Marinade:
- 4 skinless, boneless breasts cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
- vegetable oil for brushing
- 8 wooden skewers (soaked in water)
- 2/3 cup low-fat plain yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 inch of fresh garlic, grated
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- Dip: (optional)
- 2/3 cup low-fat plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon mint jelly

Preparation
Step 1
Place chicken in non metal bowl, sprinkle with salt & lemon juice. Toss and set aside for 10 minutes.
Make marinade by combining all marinade ingredients in a small bowl.
Thread cubes of chicken onto pre-soaked skewers. Brush marinade onto chicken, cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours (ideally overnight).
Cook skewers on a grill lightly coating with oil as you turn so they don't stick. Turn frequently and cook about 15 minutes or until cooked through.
Meanwhile, if using, mix dip.
