- 8 oz. German sweet chocolate
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee (optional)
- 6 oz. cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups confectioner's sugar

Step 1
Heat 8 oz. Baker's German sweet chocolate, broken in pieces, 3 tablespoons water, and 2 teaspoons instant coffee (optional) in saucepan over very low heat, stirring until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from the heat, cool to lukewarm. Ad 6 ounces cream cheese softened, and 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat until well blended. Gradually beat in 2 cups confectioners sugar. Let stand a few minutes until frosting is the right consistency for spreading.
