  • 6 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into strips
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • Dash pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 C sliced sweet red pepper
  • 1/2 C sliced green pepper
  • 1/2 C sliced onion
  • 3/4 tsp white wine vinegaqr
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
  • 2 sliced provolone cheese (1 oz each)
  • 2 sub buns

Preparation

Step 1

- Saute chicken, salt and pepper in oil until done; remove and keep warm
- In same skillet saute peppers, onion, and garlic; Stir in vinegar, pepper sauce and chicken
- Divide mixture into buns; top with cheese
- Broil 4 - 6 inches from heat until cheese melts; replace bun tops
