Ingredients
- 250 g butter
- 150 g dark chocolate chopped
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup hot water
- 1/3 cup whiskey
- 1 tablespoon dry instant coffee
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1/4 cup SR flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 2 eggs lightly beaten

Step 1
-Grease a 23cm square slab pan, line the base with paper and butter that also.
-preheat oven to moderately slow 160 degrees Celsius
Combine, butter,chocolate,sugar,water,whiskey and coffee in a double saucepan, or a heatproof pan. Stir over hot water until chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth.cool to lukewarm. Transfer mixture to a large bowl, stir in sifted flours, cocoa and then eggs.
Pour into prepared tray and bake for about 1 our. Cake is cooked when you can place a skewer in it, remove it and have a clean skewer.Cake may crack a little on top, that is fine. Sand 10 minutes before serving. I serve mine dusted with icing sugar and lots of berries :)
