Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 16 oz. package brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2-3/4 cups flour
- 2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup pecan pieces

Preparation
Step 1
Beat: margarine and sugar at medium speed with a mixer until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, beating well.
Combine: flour, baking powder and salt; gradually add to
butter mixture, beating well. Stir in chocolate morsels and pecans; spoon into a greased 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
Bake: at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool in the pan on a wire rack and cut into squares.
