Ingredients

  • 1 small head romaine lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces (about 5 cups)
  • 2 ounces cooked ham, cut into strips (about 1/2 cup)
  • 2 ounces cooked turkey breast, cut into strips (about 1/2 cup)
  • 2 ounces Swiss cheese, cut into cubes (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 hard-cooked egg, sliced (optional)
  • 1 medium tomato, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 cup Pepperidge Farm Zesty Italian Croutons
  • Prepared Italian salad dressing or French salad dressing

Preparation

Step 1

Divide the lettuce between 2 plates. Top with the ham, turkey, cheese, egg, tomato and croutons. Drizzle with the dressing.

REVIEWS:

I diced the hard boiled egg, instead of slicing it and I used halved cherry tomatoes. They stand up better in the salad and had better contrast to the ham and chicken. Top with some seeded sunflower seeds to add some crunch.

Im on a diet and this is great for me, because I don't like to diet. I love meat and I love this recipe.
