Ingredients

  • Cheesecake:
  • 1 c. cream cheese
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/8 tsp. vanilla

  • Crust:
  • 1 2/3 c. chocolate graham crumbs
  • 1/3 c. butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • __________
  • Filling:
  • 2 c. cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. Bavarian Cream
  • 1 1/2 c. dark chocolate chips, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • __________
  • Garnish:
  • 1/4 c. chocolate, shaved
  • 8 strawberries, halved

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease an 8" pan.

Cheesecake Squares:
1. Beat cream cheese and eggs together with electric mixer.

2. Add sugar and vanilla, mix well.

3. Pour batter into baking pan.

4. Bake 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Let cool before cutting into small squares.

Crust:

1. Prepare a 9" spring form pan.

2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar together

3. Press mixture into the bottom of the pan to form crust.

4. Put the crust in the refrigerator to set until ready to fill.

Filling:
1. Using an electric mixer, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until soft and smooth.

2. Add the Bavarian Cream and continue beating, scraping down the sides until smooth.

3. Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle the warm chocolate into the filling while mixing.

4. Add vanilla and mix until smooth.

Assembly:
1. Place cut cheesecake squares around crust.

2. Spread filling onto crust around cheese cake and smooth flat with a spatula.

3. Sprinkle with chocolate shavings.

4. Chill a minimum of 3 hours.
