Ingredients
- 36 oz. organic heirloom tomatoes
- 3 oz. no salt added tomato paste (1/2 small can)
- 3 oz. onion (about 1/2 medium)
- 3 cloves garlic, peeled
- 3 oz. raw organic carrots, chopped (about 1 medium)
- 2 pitted Medjool dates
- 1 Tbs. Italian spices
- 1 Tbs. dried basil

Preparation
Step 1
Puree everything except spices in the Vitamix. Stir in spices and simmer uncovered in a pot on the stove for about 45 minutes or until the sauce has thickened to desired consistency.
