Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Crisco or other solid shortening
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 tablespoons warm water
- 1 pound confectioners' sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Cream together first 4 ingredients until smooth. Gradually add sugar, 1/3 of a box at a time and mix until smooth.
Add additional water as needed to reach desired consistency.
Note: Adjust flavor by replacing vanilla with extract flavoring of your choice. My favorites are Peppermint, Orange, Lemon, & Almond.
