Ingredients
- 1 Tbl olive oil
- 1 Tbl butter
- 3 C fresh basil
- 1.5 C heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 pound pasta

Preparation
Step 1
Heat saucepan over medium heat. Add butter and oil, let melt. Add basil, cooking 1 minute until wilted, then add cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until sauce reduces and thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in remaining basil and blend with immersion blender.
Drain pasta and return to pot. Toss with half the sauce and place in serving bowl. Top with remaining sauce.
Makes 4 servings.
