Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 stiffly beaten egg whites
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1-1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1-1/2 cups floured blueberries
- 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening, sugar and egg yolks. Add vanilla. Combine dry ingredients alternately with milk. Fold in egg whites. Stir in blueberries. Bake in greased tins for 20-25 minutes in 350 oven. You can sprinkle batter with sugar before baking if you wish.
