  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 5 tbls crisco,frozen
  • 4 tbls butter,frozen
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 3 tbls ice water

Step 1

place flour in food processor, add salt to mix..add frozen butter and crisco diced up, pulsing 3 times with 3 counts per pulse to lightly mix ingredients... with motor running pour icewater into the bowl just til dough starts to get crumbly.. don't let start to clump to ball.
gather the dough in a ball with your hand, squeezing to make it stick together.if it does not work into a ball add a tiny bit of water.
wrap your dough ball in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 min. in refrigerator. roll out on cool surface and use .
bake 425* for 10 min.
