Ingredients
- 1 acorn squash
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 Tablespoons dark brown sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Oven:
Cut squash in half; remove seeds and fibers. Cut bottom of squash so it stands upright on cookie sheet. Add 1 Tablespoon butter and 1 Tablespoon sugar in each half. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour or until fork tender
Microwave:
Pierce squash; cook 2 minutes. Cut in half & remove seeds. Place cut side down on dish and cook 6 minutes. Turn squash over; add butter and sugar, cover with paper towel and cook 6-8 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving
